Caribbean cuisine with a French twist

Moringa Restaurant & Creperie in Carriacou is owned and run by Jean-Baptiste Bocquel (JB). Many visitors and residents on Carriacou already know JB from The Lazy Turtle Pizzeria in Tyrell Bay. The Lazy Turtle is now under new ownership and JB has created Moringa. French style cuisine using locally sourced ingredients, with seafood and crepes as specialty dishes. Moringa was the first restaurant in Carriacou to serve Lion Fish.

Moringa means “tree of life” and is very revered in some parts of the world, such as India and Africa where each part of it has a medicinal or nutritional use.
